And to think Go Bears wants armor when around me? grin

BC, we stocked up for our armory way before Obama became my commander-in-chief. Good thing. I just worry about my shotgun shells.

You know, REI used to sell fishing gear a long time ago. Don't know why they stopped. I feel they should bring the fishing back and sell ammunition and hunting apparel only. That's my opinion. The closest Bass Pro Shop is in Manteca, CA.

Yes, BC, we, too, hope that Santa brings happiness and good health to all.

Tough times for many, I'm sure...

This, too, shall pass.

Clearly, this thread is tending towards a powder-based climbing tool. Pull trigger - Bang! Good pro, next cartridge up. Ain't science wonderful!. Perhaps AxeMan could 'shop up a concept tool.

+ @ti2d.... I'm guessing that the only thing of mine you may be jealous of is my 250 3000 Savage with shell counter. My mom inherited it from her dad in Texas, and I inherited it from my mom. I had it repaired a few years back and it's a neat little rifle. I haven't shot it in years. I'm guessing it's about 85 years old by now, but certainly is a beauty. Last time my kids went out, they just loved it. I do wish I kept my first gun, a single shot Ithica 22. The only guns I kept where my mom's Ithica 20 gauge and the Savage.
You have a Great Christmas !
May Santa give our kids some gifts and the Lord give the Sierras lots of snow this Winter.

Hey there, Gary! I still dance with the coyotes, and AROUND the rattlesnakes. Blessings to you and your family for a wonderful holiday and a new year of lots of new adventures!

Gosh, for Christmas I'd be a happy camper if I would just have my name called in the Whitney lottery. 0-4 in the last 4 years.

Oh yeah - that too! How could I forget?! Especially important being 2500 miles distant. I'm 1 for the past 4. Not like I can hang out at the Inter-Agency in the mornings hoping for a cancellation! Santa, PLEEEEZE!

Yes, Mr. Attitude, it's Kandy ... in my Santa outfit. I miss our paths crossing . . . I guess the Sierra's are much too big for that to happen! Icehouse and Baldly just aren't the same . . .
