Plans changed when my partner hurt his back. We will be now headed up the MTR the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Any trip reports would be helpful as well as any advice going up the E-Ledges

Although the movie showed footage of the E-ledges, there was no instruction.
Search: "Mountaineer's Route 5/25/2007" in the main forum. Be sure to use the " ". This is the instruction I got before my first trip up the MR. It was very helpful. Especially the photo of the ledges with the tracer drawn in.
Good luck!

Was up on the lower half of the route Saturday, pics are on my flickr site, and I'll post a brief TR shortly. Conditions seem to be far less than optimal, meaning ICE instead of snow. Freezing begins by 3pm, so I wouldn't trust that chute to be very-user friendly right now, IMHO.
