You can leave it home. The bugs are mostly gone until next spring.

I had it, but never used it last week. For a moment I thought I might need it at Outpost Camp, but it was a false alarm.

No need for the extra weight. Now you can run up the mountain. I day hiked Mt. Whitney on Monday and spent Saturday and Sunday under the stars with no bugs! Enjoy your lighter pack.
