Dear Weather Affectionatos:

I now have a new Eastern Sierra Weather Forecast Website. It will, among other things, have my usual in-depth area forecasts, real time weather conditions in local towns with great color graphics, PM-10 counts, webcams, my radio and TV forecasting schedule, a blog for your questions and comments and more...Because of this, I will no longer be posting my forecasts to websites or through the email. So, please add to your favorites list and join me at www.easternsierraforecast.com for the most accurate area forecasts available for the beautiful Eastern Sierra.

Best Regards,
Dennis Mattinson

"Weather Affectionatos" -- I like that!

Congratulations, DMATT! I like the analog and all the other dial thingies! Too cool! Weather pun NOT intendeded.

Hopefully, they bump this thread continually for others to get the word of your posting your forecasts.

Next time my wife and I are in the Owens valley, we will stay tuned! "Hey, I know that guy!"

Thank you for all you have done for the WPSMB.

Have fun.

Journey well...

DMATT,

Thanks for a wonderful weather site! Your weathing information and links were very valuable to me while I was planning my Mt. Whitney hike. Even though I don't know when I'll get to hike Mt. Whitney again, I'm sure I'll be visiting your site often.

Here are a few points you may wish to consider:

1) If it were me, I would have links that navigate away from the main site open in a new browser window. (ie...forecast link, webcam links, etc...)

2) If you click the links button and then click the Mount Whitney Photo option...the link appears to be broken.

3) On the webcam page, change the link color from blue to something lighter so it can be read against the dark blue background.

Again, thanks for a great site!

thanks––this is great, if only because, sitting here in the city (san francisco) I get lonely for the hills and . . . always wondering what it would be like if I was sitting in the hot tub at the dow, looking up and up and . . .
