I'm doing the Johm Muir trail and need a re-supply (one bear cannister of food - maybe 7-10 pounds) at Kearsarge Pass or junction of Kearsarge Pass and JMT on Aug 10 or 11 (Mon or Tue). I am happy to pay someone for this.

If you don't get a reply from an individual you might consider
contacting Pine Creek Pack Station/Sequoia Kings Pack Trains.
They drop off food re-supplies over Kearsarge Pass to Charlotte Lake area or by arrangement to the John Muir Trail/ Kearsarge Pass trail junctions. Call Dee or Brian at 1 800 962 0775. I don't know the current price for a small 7-10 # package. I have
used them and know several others who have used them and been satisfied with their service.

Another place you might try is Sierra Mountaineering International. They're a mountain guide service and might have a guide who could carry a resupply up there for you. The owner Kurt Wedberg sometimes posts here (when he isn't on a trip).
