Hi, my husband and i have summited berfore, but it was always in the nice sun and summer weather. We want to try a trip this weekend. We have decent gear, but no gaiters. Any advice would be wonderful.
It's been snowing at the higher elevations for four days. Fair amount of spindrift coming off the Crest this morning as I drove south to Indy and LP. Conditions are far less than ideal. You have a lot more to worry about than if you have gaiters or not.
