Mt. Whitney Portal Store & Hostel Forums General Mt. Whitney Portal Store Message Board O.C to Crescent Meadow ride

I have a permit to hike the High Sierra Trail on Sept 3rd, and just found out today that the Sequoia Shuttle from Visalia to Giant Forest stops running on Sept 1st. Anyone planning to leave from the L.A. or O.C. area to head over to Sequoia National Park around that time? I can help with gas money. Please respond to pnw1992@yahoo.com. Thanks.
