Does anyone know the cost of the Whitney portal campsites, if you get one of the walk ins without a reservation? Thanks

The mind is going - it was only about two weeks ago. It was either $11.00 or $14.00 or close to that.

If you do not have reservations, get there around noon or earlier and that was mid-week. Grab an envelop as you pull in, find a site, fill out the receipt and return it.

UNLESS THEY HAVE INCREASED THE COST FROM LAST YEAR ITS $6.00 FOR THE WALK IN SITES.

The Hiker-in's are $6 and the family campground is $14. Pick your poison.
