Since my wife and I returned from a terrific climb of Mt Whitney last month, we have been extolling the virtues of the Whitney Portal Store and the great folks that run it. Such customer service orientation seems rare anymore. And, you know, most places that are in locations like the WP Store just gouge the heck out of customers, often needy customers. Not so at this wonderful little general store. A special memory in a place of special memories. Thanks to the entire family and staff!
