Hi,

I am going to be making my first attempt ever up to Whitney Summit on the weekend of the 16,17th of August and am wondering if anyone has an extra permit they'd like to get rid of. Also, with this being my first time I am looking to be part of a large or small group of semi-experienced hikers who may have hiked the summit before and can give me an idea of what to expect. Not sure if your original plans have changed or not. I am arriving at the portal Friday, August 15, entering the 16th, planning to summit and exiting Sunday the 17th. Let me know if you are going to be there and interested in hooking up.
