When I was in Lone Pine a couple of weeks ago, the old location was vacant. I wanted to visit the shop again because last year I strolled in there on an evening walk down Lone Pine and on impulse bought a Marmot jacket from the very nice proprietor there.

At first I was afraid she went out of business but there is a sign saying they moved down the street.

I was in Lone Pine over July 4th. The hostel looked beautiful! I'm going to check it out tomorrow night. wink Get an early start on the weekend.
Update: the hostel room was extremely nice, AC felt really good...I will definately stay there again.

When we finished our hike on Tue. 9/23 some of our group wanted to just get on the road. As we pulled in to Lone Pine I saw the hostel and was able to stop and check it out. We all ended up spending the night and really enjoyed our stay. Just to get a soak in a tub, get cleaned up and get a good nites rest was great.
Thanks Doug and all
