Thinking of heading out to the lakes for some fishing and a trip up Langley on Sat. June 21 until Mon.
Anyone else going to be up there?
Do you think it will be busy?

njb just a friendly word of advice about fishing in and around the Cottonwood Lakes area, do it after July 1. The California fish and Game web site states the season opens on July 1 and has several restrictions such as artificial lures with barb less hooks. for more info see http://www.dfg.ca.gov/regulations/07-08-inland-fish-regs.pdf. I plan to be there on June 30-July 2 with only a bunch of maybes so far. If you have a small fly pole you'll catch all the Goldies you want. Good luck to ya when ever you go.

Oops. I was confused - Golden Trout Wilderness season started end of April - Cottonwood Lakes July 1 as you say, thanks for the info.
I may go and climb Langley & Cirque.
Anyone know if Old Army Pass is clear of snow?
