howas are the mosies and other bugs at horseshoe meadows in late july???

The skeeters will most likely be around in late July.

I camped at Long Lake this weekend and the mosquitos are out.

Take a repellent that is effective and you should co-exist with most bugs in the Sierra with minor, if any, discomfort. Trying to sleep undisturbed through the night is way up there on my list of things...skeeters waay low on the list.
