planning on beginning the local summits in prep for main trail next month. Does anyone have the scoop on conditions for the baldy hut - backbone loop trail and vivian creek trail to San Gorgonio?

We hiked Icehouse Canyon to Timber Mtn. Saturday. No snow or ice anywhere.

Backbone is clear

Don't forget the Triple T's trail too. Up Icehouse down back side of Baldy to Ski Hut to road.

Or for a real test, do Baldy from behind Library in Mt Baldy town. The original trail. More altitude gain than the Whitney trail, but not the altitude.
