If you plan to do this peak via traditional trail route starting from Sage Flat. The cattle trail follows the creek up to the ridgeline. This creek is running to various degrees all year long - but I usually carry enough to get past here. If you take the hiker route up as opposed to the cattle trail - your first water will be at the small creek crossing just below Olancha Pass - the creek is seasonal - but I would expect it to be flowing fine right now with snow melt. Personally to use this water I would go upstream a bit above the crossing to avoid filtering. The camp near summit meadow has a stream which runs all year long I think - personally that source I might filter (Ridgeline Dave used this water on our Brown Mountain day hike last year - I think he filtered). Your last real water is coming back up the canyon below Bear Trap meadow(clean - no need to filter). This source is also seasonal - but is usually flowing well into July.
When are you climbing - send me a PM - always enjoy this peak and there are some great variations
