Any tips on how we can get a shuttle set-up to do a Whitney Portal-Onion Valley ski trip? We'd like to leave our car at the Onion Valley trailhead (or as close as we can get) and get a shuttle to the Whitney Portal trailhead this Friday morning (April 18th). It seems that several shuttle services are no longer operating (Kountry Korners, High Sierra Transportation, the Wilderhouses). We're two people and we'd have skis and overnight packs.

Bob E. out of Lone Pine.

I have no experience with him, but spoke to him on the phone a few times about arranging a shuttle. Very nice and friendly.

Maybe you can use the CREST bus too???

Have fun.

Do you have the Wilderhouses contact info?
I am looking to set up a shuttle from Lone Pine to the Saw Mill Pass trailhead in early July.

THANKS

The Wilder family runs the Wilder House B&B.

The http://www.wilderhouse.com says that the shuttle is no longer in operation, but that sounds incorrect per Denise above. I suggest a phone call if you're interested.

According to the web this is their contact info:
