Kevin, and all other interested parties, TROUT SEASON OPENS LATE APRIL

Fishing Report for the Bishop area
of the Eastern High Sierra
http://www.bishopvisitor.com/fcr/report.php3
Updated: Monday, March 17, 2008

The General Trout Season in the High Sierra opens in both Inyo and Mono counties on Saturday, April 26, 2008. The Pleasant Valley Reservoir and the Owens River near Bishop are open all year for great Trout fishing.

When I get a little money, I buy books; and if any is left I buy food and clothes.

the game warden last weekend reminded us that turkey season opened last week also - but I don't think that should affect life on the trail

I will be up on Sunday for a dayhike whether the road is closed or not. I'd rather start from the Portal, but I'll take what I can get.

Thanks, Passingthru.

And Hodge - maybe I'll see you on the trail. I'm also headed up for a dayhike on Sunday.

I am flying out tomorrow and need to mentally prepare to hike that extra distance, I am just too fragile to have that sprung on me when I reach the trailhead Friday morning

ScottL - Classic! Thanks for the grins.
