Any reports? I hever heard a word and there website makes no mention of their attempt. Did they give it a go?

In reply with jackalopes previous posting some days ago about the Sureal Summit trip. I was planning on tagging along with that group. I would drive over from the fresno, ca area and meet them. I was watching the weather very closely (those wind storms on 395 can ruin a vehicle). Anyways, based upon my experience, I opted not to go and climb/hike in that severe storm(s). I did speak with one of the members a short time after she got back to the east coast from Lone Pine. She said that only a couple of them got as far as the Portal. Mother nature did not cooperate with their plans....
