What is the condition of Skyblue Lake and Crabtree Lake. Do they have any water?

I hiked to Sky Blue Lake a little over a month ago. Plenty of water. It's a very big lake. I can't imagine it ever drying up without years of catastrophic drought. I don't know about Crabtree Lake.

Vine:

Don't know if you do any fishing, but a fly-fishing friend of mine caught a freakishly large 19" Golden Trout in Sky-Blue Lake many years ago. In light of its remote nature, the lake doesn't get a lot of pressure.

So, if you've got room in your pack, you might consider taking your rod/reel.
