Well, the annual Sierra trip begins tomorrow. 4 of us flatlanders from Southern Maryland are doing a 2 night trip up the main trail. We'll be at site 11 in the family campground tomorrow night, at Trail Camp on Thursday night, summit (we hope) and down to Outpost Camp on Friday, and back to the portal for burgers and fries come Saturday. Stop by and say hi if you're in the portal area tomorrow; otherwise, hope to see some of you on the trail! By way of identification, I'll be lugging the too-heavy orange Gregory Palisade on my back.
