I read somewhere that the register container on Williamson was not much more than a cigar tin so on my way to Lone Pine I stopped in Beatty, NV where a man sells all sorts of ammo cans and purchased one, which I then placed on the summit of Williamson - Tues 6/26/07. Hopefully it will stay there for a while and if you were thinking of taking one up you won't get up there and find out there is already one there. - Joe

Years ago I put a short section of 3" PVC pipe with a screw-on cap at the top of a peak that was popular with a local camp. Went up several years ago to find it working well.

Thanks, Joe! I know we were all amazed at the tupperware on top of Williamson over Memorial Day. Thanks for giving the mountain the type of box it deserves!
