Hi;

Any info on those snowpacks on Army Pass? I think the last conditions were reported on June 2. Wonder if they've melted out or have paths through them? Thanks.

On the 12th I could see snow there from Peak 12369, but I met two people who had just come up that way without any extra gear.

I hiked up Mt. Langley via Army Pass today. Army Pass has two short (7-10 feet) snowfields that can be crossed easily without danger. At the top, there is a larger, steeper snowfield that I chose to bypass to the left, which required about a couple dozen feet of easy Class 3 movement. I wore trail running shoes and had no extra gear.

Thanks for the info; I think I might give it a try in July. I was up Army Pass last August; nice trail!
