Hi all,
I was on the trail last september , Up to trail camp with a friend.High winds made us turn back in the morning. I have a permit for august 26-28, but solo. Do I go up and carry 35 lbs again and sleep at trail camp, or do I do the crazy thing and go up and down in one day ? ( I am not sure that I can do this, anyway )
Thanks for the feedback.

You also have the option of hiking up and down from Outpost Camp. From there you could just carry a day pack and still not hike 22 miles in one day. You also would not have to lug the gear as far and be exposed to as much elevation extreme as you would staying at Trail Camp.

You got the permit, therefore, I'd make plans to for a night at Trail Camp. This trip is much more enjoyable as backpacking trip.
