I was in the Whitney Area just last weekend during the storm but I wasn't able to swing by Independence to check out Onion Valley. I was up there three weeks ago and the area looked clear/free of snow up till the pass. I'm doing a weekend overnighter with a buddy who doesn't have much snow stuff, if someone has been up there in the last couple days, I'd appreciate it if you could post what the conditions are like. I'm hoping for not alot of snow, it is warming up fast too.
