I'd love to keep track of these for future reference, since I'll be in Zion NP when Kurt hits West LA. Does he post this info on his website/anywhere else to find it?

Not sure about info available on Kurt's webpage, but I'd check the A16 and REI event calendars every so often for these sorts of goodies.

Here's the A16 link;

I will be helping out Kurt by giving talks on Winter Camping at the A16 stores in November. They don't have them up on their site, yet, but hope to see some of you out there, who live in LA, OC, and SD.

Plus, I wanted to avoid trouble by making sure I'd let Richard know in plenty of time, THIS time! smile

As far as the group climb goes, I think Chris (BeachAV8R) deserves some kind of award for coming all the way out from NC!

Wish us luck as we head up to Lone Pine tomorrow in an attempt to summit Whitney on Wed or Thurs.

I'm hoping to be able to make the Tarzana show on Thursday night on my way home.

Kurt,
Thanks for a great slide show on Mt Kilimanjaro along with bonus material on Mt Kenya and the Serengeti safaris. I think everyone who attended the Costa Mesa show last night was really impressed with your knowledge and expertise on organizing these adventures. Those trips look like a once in a lifetime trip that I’d love to do some day, carpe diem!

Hope you guys have a good’ol hike up Baldy today. I wish I could join you, but the work thingy ….. frown

It was also nice to meet a number of folks who post on these discussion boards and put a face to the name. Hope to see you out on the trail soon.

Cheers,
Rick G

Hey guys,

Thanks to everyone for attending the shows. The last one is tonight in Tarzana. As was said above it's always great to put a face to the names on the board.

The Baldy hike was a lot of fun. I'm sure we'll get pics up on the web soon.

I'll see you all at the next series of shows!

All the best,

Kurt
