Mt. Whitney Portal Store & Hostel Forums General Mt. Whitney Portal Store Message Board Looking for overnight pass/hiking partner

Will be in the Lone Pine area between 10/10-10/15 and was wondering if anyone had either an extra pass and/or was in need of a hiking partner. This will be my 7th time climbing Whitney but just couldn't get passes via the lottery this year. It's easier to hop on to someone's unused pass than waiting around for no shows at the RS. Thank you.

I will be hiking Mt. Whitney on 10/10 to 10/12. I have 3 extra permits for the Mt. Whitney Trail. I would enjoy hiking with a partner.

I hiked Whitney 10 years ago. I am fairly fit, and I have been training for the hike. I plan on camping at Trail Camp on 10/10 and 10/11.
