I was going to do the Sierra Challenge (Giraud) but didn't have a hiking partner. DaveG had a permit for the main trail and his partner backed out, so I went with him instead. It was a fun trip! Ran into Doug Sr and his crew, met Betsy and Jack (Whitney1?), and hiked part of the way back with them.
