My buddy and I did Tahquitz Lookout, Deer Springs/San Jacinto, Vivian Creek/San Gorgornio in preparation for our successful 1 day summit of Whitney last July. We're going again in August and looking for a different set of prep mountains in SoCal. Any suggestions for routes/order on Baldy and Iron Mountain.
We've done Tahquitz and are doing San Jac next weekend.

I hiked the Bear Canyon trail up to Baldy yesturday. It starts at the village church and climbs nearly 6000' in 6 miles to the summit. I would say this is a great prep hike for Whitney.
