Does anybody have an extra permit for the day of July 15th? I am willing to buy the permit off of you.

I don't have a permit but you should know it is not legal to sell permits. The USFS monitors this site and have used it in the past to catch people doing illegal acts. You might not have known that selling permits is not legal so I wanted to let you know. We really shouldn't use this message board to conduct illegal activities.

If you don't have a permit you might try doing it in a day, try the multi day route from Horseshoe Meadows, or the Mountaineer's Route if you have a little experience.

Trail permits are not transferrable.

If you want to dayhike on July 15, just call the ranger station. According to their website (Updated May 3) they still have three open permits.

maybe they should go out in the field. there is plenty of illegal stuff going on out there to keep them busy.
