Does anyone know as of 4/7/05 how passable the road is to the Portal?

Kurt Wedberg (the professional guide who spoke last night at Adventure 16 in Santa Monica) said the road was still closed at the avalanche which covers the road.....as of Wednesday April 6th

last Saturday ther was a path around the avalanche - you could get all the way to where the road went west - just below campground below meysan lakes turnoff - but if you do this be careful of the rock fall areas

Hi Sorry about the editing function, I turned somethings off last fall and somehow the editing feature was tied to one of the icons I still can't find what I did but I will search again. Thanks Doug (I Found it)
