I went through Shasta Mountain Guides when I went up the glacier route several years ago. Great group of guides, greatly concerned about safety . I would use them again anytime. Good luck on the climb.
You might want join www.mt-whitney.info. When you do, you'll have access to the member list. There are at least two members, Sierra Stryder and Shasta Locales among them, who live up there and climb it regularly.
