Mt. Whitney Portal Store & Hostel Forums General Mt. Whitney Portal Store Message Board Crabtree Lakes

I just checked out the topo map on the Crabtree lakes and I'm not so sure which one is which. There are apparently 3 major lakes; The one next to Crabtree Pass, connected by the creek (Is that the upper?) and 2 more down the creek. My question is which one is the lower, upper crabtree lakes? Also, I'm aware one of them has a sandy "beach". Which one would that be?
