A friend and I are heading up on Thursday, I shall keep my eyes open for it. By the way, what were the conditions like this weekend?

Tre, here are some photos, dont really know the temps at night but it was definately below 30deg. Heading up was warm when the sun would poke out and cold when it was behind clouds, which had us sweaty at times, lots of on and off clothing changes heading up. Be extremely careful with all the rockfall, otherwise it was a comfortable snow camp weekend, saw a few boarders and skiers going up to UBSL.

Tre, forgot to say, we had to stop on the road just past the road closed sign, its the second snow covered road area, in other words we past the signs, drove on dry road, hit a snow covered area, went through, hit dry road again, and could not make the next snow covered area. This left 3-4 miles to the portal. This is with Doug Js 4WD Toureg and chains. The only other vehicles were also there, both 4wd.

Thanks for the info Dave, keep your fingers crossed on your jacket and I shall let you know if I found it after I return (Sunday).
