I've hiked Mt. Whitney as a day hike each of the past 3 years. 2 years ago, I was well over 1/2 way up the switchbacks for sunrise, and I believe it was somewhere around 5:45am. Can anybody confirm for me what time the sun will rise at the summit? I'd like to get an idea of what pace I need to hold this year.

Try this <a href="http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/"> Navy site</a> for astronomical info.
