Sorry to have to cancel the trip, I was really looking forward to it but about three weeks ago my family and I moved up to the Mt. Shasta area so what used to be a 7 hour drive is now an 11 hour drive to Whitney. Since I have a great mountain basically out my back door, coupled with the price of gas, the long drive to Lone Pine doesn't seem worth it. I'm really enjoying it up here, I've already climbed Shasta twice, the views are really awesome. If you ever head up this way let me know, the offer to climb together still stands. You too Kashcraft.
