I'm hungry for information on any east side trailhead. Where does the snow begin? Thanks

Walter R. post on May 8th reports patchy snow on up to Bighorn park, with snow solid above Mirror lake (about 10300 feet).

On the Mountaineers route, you can stay on the right side of the canyon and out of the snow until about Lower Boy Scout lake....10300 feet.

And farther north at Rock Creek on 4/25/04 the road was open to the pack station about 2.5 miles from Mosquito Flats. About 2' of snow at the trailhead.
