john22 Member Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 45 CA. Chatsworth,	Me and a friend would like to hike up the portal tril this friday. We plan to hangout at Trail Camp. Also I would like to know what the parking rules @ the Portal are.

Ken Member Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 2,446 Studio City, Ca	I'm hiking in this weekend, and will get to Trail Camp Friday afternoon. I don't think you need axe or crampons to get there, but you do beyond there. Hiking poles are definitely recommended. I don't believe there are any rules for parking, other than using spaces and not blocking anything. DON"T LEAVE FOOD IN THE CAR!!!! Use the lockers if you have any.
