Anybody headed up this Friday?? I was thinking about it. I did it this time last year and had a blast...I have a four-wheel drive and plan on getting to LonePine early Friday AM. Let me know if anybody has current conditions or suggestions or if anybody wants to drive up from LonePine.

Kelley,

As the Emu flies (in its dreams), I live about 60 miles northwest from Whitney at 3,000 feet bordering Sierra National Forest. Right now we are getting hit with some pretty good rain, that is almost turning to snow - and I heard that Mammoth Lakes could get 6 - 7 inches of snow accumulation tonight.
