Hi all,

New member here, apologies of my questions have already been answered, I am still learning to navigate the forum.

I have permits to enter in 2 days (may 25,2024) at onion valley. The plan is to hike over Kearsarge, then follow the jmt/pct over Forrester, possibly (hopefully) hit Tyndall via north rib, head back to jmt/pct and towards guitar lake/ backside of Whitney. Last day would be summitimg Whitney and exiting at Whitney portal. 4 nights on trail.

I have seen some info on conditions of kearsarge and the pct track. I would like to know if anyone has updates on the conditions of the trail on Whitney from guitar lake to trail crest, also how Forrester pass is looking and any possible info on Tyndall.

Any info or tips regarding any part of this route would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Kyle
