Mother came in ask for help , kids were down before the call went through , kids about 8,11years old mom may have over reacted or didn't understand that standing at the falls yelling for them to come down wasn't working?
Next around 6:30 PM a young lady collasped just off the trail, Dispatch called and she was taken to the ER. Several people helped her down and carried her pack , not sure the Diamox they gave her was correct or the several other drugs was needed , she seemed overly dehydrated .

A post from a high pointer said he helped a young later get to the summit that was having trouble , I hope it wasn't the same young lady and he should of helped her down not to the summit.

I have often wondered if those taking Diamox knew how dehydrated it makes you. Not the best mix, thick heavy blood, and those taking ibuprofen, with all the ill effects that some have with the heart could also be a plan for disaster.

I'm just thankful that those lost kids didn't wander near the pond---they might've gotten their feet wet...

Got word the young lady was given 3 doses of Diamox ,Benadryl, and either Motrin or Tylenol on the way down, she was vomiting and had relieved herself, never a good sign. I hope she was stabilized at the ER.

Diamox, Impairs thinking and reactions, causes confusion and triples the sunburn on exposed skin. You come home not remembering the hike with the worst sunburn you have ever had.
