Was up and over Paiute into Humphreys basin this past weekend (up to desolation lake). There's a very short section of snow to cross JUST before the pass, but it's all but flat where it is, so you can cross no problem (40ish paces or so).
Bugs were bad, bring deet/picaridin or something of the sort.
TONS of wildflowers though that were gorgeous. Hopefully they'll hold on another couple weeks for you!
