Does anybody (official) track these nearly extinct things?
Don't know if it's the water, but after years (4 of them in 10), I've come across 2 in the last 2 times out. I've got photos with location information......
I think they do in certain designated study areas but it seems it would be impossible to monitor the whole vast Mojave Desert. I have also came across them in areas where I I am bewildered how they survive there. Probably best to keep location secret in this day and age.
