So it was a lovely Father/Son weekend and my sons very first trip to Whitney.
Coming back down the cables, we had a minor foot slip and lo and behold the sound of a tumbling point and shoot camera. As I watched all our memories disappear, I was relieved that it stopped its tumble on a minor ledge of the huge boulder below.
coming down the cable by the second post, if you look down to your left, you will see my camera (I hope it's still there). If anyone is an experience climber who uses ropes, it is EASY access. If you can get my camera for me, I am happy to offer a reward.
I'm pretty sure its not going anywhere. I could care less about the camera, I just want the SD card inside. Please contact me at 310-666-9624 with any info/questions.

I'm heading up the MR on Friday and coming down the trail... if it's still there I'll see if I can grab it for you.

I looked for it and I didn't see it anywhere, so either someone else got it already and hopefully turned it in to the portal store OR maybe it fell further down and out of sight.
