Maverick, the new form looks great!! I've saved it under my favorites, and will definitely use it.

Thank you for posting this. I'll think of Larry, and your amazing dedication to find him, every time I use it. Larry was lucky to have you as a friend, and we are lucky to have caring people like you in this world. I love the quote by Albert Pike... and it definitely applies to you.

Thank you Rosie, very happy to read that you will be
using it! Just trying to give folks a better chance at
survival, and if possible, make SAR job a little easier
and a little bit safer.

Excellent form, Maverick! Ditto everything Rosie said. smile Thank you for all you did to help find Larry and to make future searches more efficient.

I have always called or text my daughters with my itinerary and they also have the links of the forums I use in case there is a need. I carry an emergency kit that I made myself and two of things I have inside are a copy of my driver's license and medical insurance card with stated med's I take, allergies and my emergency contact information as well as fire-starter. I put petroleum jelly on cotton wipes in a small zip-lok bag. My personal info has never been needed but I did use the firestarter one night to save my fingers and toes in an unplanned bivy.
