Hi, all.
Do you think my chances of decent weather in the Whitney Zone are *significantly* reduced on the second weekend in October versus the first weekend?

I realize that, generally speaking, all bets are off when high in the mountains -- especially after September -- but Oct. 12-13 works a lot better than Oct. 5-6. Again, I know this is a tough ("coin-flip") question, but I thought I'd toss it out there.

Thanks.

Sounds like you already know the answers. I suggest checking climbingweather.com a few days before the trip and making the final call depending on what their forecast looks like.
