Looking for some advice from the locals regarding weather and lightning. We have plans to basecamp at Iceberg Lake from Wednesday through Saturday (July 3-6), and from there launch ascents to the summit via the East Buttress and the MR. The forecast looks to include increasing chances of afternoon thunderstorms. No doubt if we climb we need to be back down before the weather turns, but do we need to be concerned about lightning while camping at Iceberg? Should we consider camping lower?
