Went on a quick weekend trip to an area just east of Sentinel Dome to take in some winter scenery. There is a solid four feet of coverage from Badger Pass out to Glacier Point. The road is nice and groomed but powder fluff off of it.

So here are a few photos to pass the time........

Great photos. How was the temperature? I went out to Big Bear for snowshoeing and temps went down to 6F at some point

Calicokat, You have some very nice photos there.

Here is a photograph that I took of Half Dome a couple years ago from Glacier Point. I wore snowshoes for the 11 mile hike out from Badger Pass, and spent the night camped on the point.

This photo was taken at 2 AM by the light of the full Moon!! It is a single exposure time lapse film photo.

It was a great trip to a beautiful area, and I think I am going to go back and do it again in the next couple of months.

Second photo is a time lapse self portrait. Like the see thru legs ?
