Hello Dougs and website Administrators,

I've been a member of your forum for almost 10 years and am now looking to start a forum for another area and have been looking at yours as a model. I wanted to find out how you like UBB, what it costs, etc. I have looked at the UBB website and it looks like referrers get goodies if someone signs up, so you of course would be my referrer.

I can also be reached at AdiosRich@yahoo.com.

Thanks, AdiosRich

Hi I will answer on the board as this might help others . First Doug Jr. and a young man (Carlos) working at Qnet sat down for about 15 minutes and did the banner/top section and the page layout .Next we transfered the existing site that was using the demo copy from a hockey team .Recall the early days when very basic text was the standard? Also I had worked with Mike Harris on the build up of 395 .com. The ideal was have a web cam in every town and all the chambers would have a linked site .I dream a lot.
Mike created one of the best resource sites around to the level it served as several County sites and much more. Some errors in expecting the area being ready 20 years ahead instead 20 years behind.

OK around 2002 Mike and I thought I could run the site with the new software on the market. I bought a copy of the UBB stuff sat at home one day and answered the questions on the screen turned it on and watched .Burt W is #3 on the board. Now that number is over 15,000 and other have thought enough to copy the site!

Look at facebook or some of the other social media sites and notice they do very little more than a site like this .Well maybe a little more?

Last week at the broadband forum this site was talked about .Web designers admit it is out of date, not fancy, cost about $100. bucks and gets a lot of hits.
When I was learning the silk screen system a lady from one of the major supply companies ask me why I wanted a certain product after I told her the end use Her answer was why buy a caddy when a pickup will do!
During the forum I was in the next room talking about the next 20 years.

I hope this helps Thanks Doug 760 920 2178.
