I love going to the portal this time of the year because you never know who you are going to run into and there are always good stories to be heard.
This time I met Davey and Tracy, who did the MR in some crazy fast time with Richard P, I finally met the not so elusive Bob R, who gave me some very helpful hints a few years back, Mora (spelling?) from the hostel shared some of my most favorite food items and I suggest she start a gourmet food truck business down in town.
An almost SAR call that wasn't because someone did not tell the others in his group that he wanted to make a little side trip...
Doug, I went through my photos and found a picture of that cave you were talking about. It looks like fun, if I had a rope and a climbing partner to check it out...quite roomy!
