Summits 49 and 50 in time for my 50th in a couple of months. Summiting before 4 am on a moonless night was different. The stars were amazing. Only visible light was urban glow from LA, the Central Valley, and Las Vegas. Got the second summit at noon. Tired but a GOOD kind of tired......

Double congratulations congratulations!

The one time in 2006 that I did the MR (just one round trip) I was more sore in my legs than anything I ever did.

Adding my congratulations... that makes two for you!

Hitting 50 ain't so bad if you stay active. It just seems to hurt a little bit more and for a little bit longer after you sit down.

...And if you sit too long, it's hard to stand up again.

Dang great job on the double. 50 isn't so bad. You'll be shopping at Forever 51 from now on.
